The Tauri Group LLC Awarded Defense Threat Reduction Agency Chemical and Biological Technologies Directorate Advisory & Assistance Services Contract

Alexandria, Virginia, November 21, 2007 - The Tauri Group is pleased to announce that it has been selected as the prime contractor to provide Advisory & Assistance Services for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency Chemical and Biological Technologies Directorate (DTRA-CB). The initial task order of the indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has a value of $85 million over the next five years.

DTRA-CB provides science and technology support to DTRA and the Department of Defense Chemical and Biological Defense Program by managing and integrating medical and physical research projects and initiatives. These efforts are geared toward developing future technology solutions to reduce the impact of chemical and biological hazards to military forces. The Tauri Group team will provide in-depth scientific analyses, technology assessments, program management assistance, and business operations support to the directorate.

The Tauri Group's principal subcontractors for this effort are: ANSER Inc., Arlington, VA; Bull & Associates, Inc., Arlington, VA; Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute, Albuquerque, NM; LMI, McLean, VA; and ManTech SRS, Huntsville, AL. The Tauri Group also has agreements for niche expertise support with Martin, Blanck, & Associates, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and Mercury Healthcare Consulting.
